Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Dental Nurse to work full-time in Rochdale/Oldham/Bury. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of dental nursing and be registered with the GDC.

The pay rate for this Dental Nurse job is £14.55 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing long term booking. Any travel/mileage whilst at work will be paid in expenses.

Job Summary:

  • Carry out a full range of duties required of an experienced dental nurse
  • Provide clinical support to dental officers /therapists/hygienists
  • Work as part of a team, delivering high quality, specialised dental care to patients with varying special needs
  • Organisation and running of the dental surgery on a day to day basis
  • Provide dental nursing assistance to the dentist / therapist / hygienist at the chair-side for simple and complex procedures and general anaesthetics
  • Maintain patient records, files patient records and x-rays and transfers data to data bases/ clinical software system

Requirements of the Dental Nurse:

  • Current GDC registration
  • National Certificate or NVQ Qualification
  • Previous UK experience as a Dental Nurse
  • Ability to work flexibly across the footprint
  • Conscious sedation post qualification
