Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Data & MRI Analyst to work remotely.

The pay rate for this locum Data & MRI Analyst job is £215 per day and is an initial 2-month contract.


  • Improving data integrity and delivering timely, accurate and insightful data and MI products and services
  • Play a critical role in ensuring that HSE can deliver against the requirements of the COVID process by ensuring that the operational team have the right data and MI at the right time
  • Play a key part in HSE’s COVID response in ensuring that we deliver our objectives and can effectively respond to changing priorities and ultimately provide public assurance that GB workplaces are COVID secure
  • Produce daily reports for Local Authorities (LA) analysing operational output of COVID Spot Checks process
  • Prepare data and daily/weekly Reports to support the Spot Check Programme
  • Maintain Dashboards and progress tracking metrics
  • Error check and maintain data integrity, ensuring data is up to date, audited and fit for purpose
  • Review, validate, correct and improve data integrity and accuracy
  • Perform ongoing checks and take actions to correct data issues / highlight data issues, including liaison with key stakeholders
  • Continuous focus on detail and data integrity/accuracy
  • Perform and provide Data and Statistical Analysis
  • Develop solutions to improve the delivery, consistency, accuracy and integrity of Data and MI Reporting
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and help implement solutions
  • Respond and deliver against ad-hoc requests for LA data and MI from across the organisation
  • Act as main point of contact for any LA data queries that may arise
  • Keep up-to-date understanding of internal Operational, Data and MI processes and impacts on data
  • Provide cover if and when other team members are absent

Requirements of the Data & MRI Analyst:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Recent IT experience
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate/transform, manage, analyse and present data, including knowledge and experience with Pivot Tables, Excel Functions (such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF, COUNTIFS, nested IF, etc) and Macros
  • Ability to create and understand complex formulas
  • Experience with VBA
  • Experienced using Power Queries in Microsoft Excel to prepare and transform data from multiple sources
  • Experience of working with large datasets, drawing out insights and key trends. Ability to quickly understand data held in databases
  • Capability to produce, explain and present accurate Dashboards, Reports and other outputs (tables, charts, slides, etc) in an accurate, user-friendly and consistent manner, with good presentation
  • Extensive experience delivering data and MI in an operational setting – experience in a call centre environment
  • Planning, co-ordination and organisational skills with the ability to meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent standard of oral and written communication
  • Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to use own initiative
  • Understands the context and nature of the COVID challenge and the HSE response 
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and react quickly to emerging challenges
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and QlikView
  • Access to a device (laptop or desktop), Internet connection and a working environment that will allow them to work safely and effectively remotely
