Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Criminal Justice Practitioner to work full-time based in Worcester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.
The pay rate for this locum Criminal Justice Practitioner job is £16 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 1-month contract.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- To provide substance misuse specific screening, triage assessment, brief interventions and case management to individuals within the criminal justice in a variety of settings including custody suites.
- Liaise with custody staff to gain access to prisoners who are detained in police stations.
- Identify service users who maybe suitable for court ordered treatment.
- Manage a case load of service users subject to court ordered treatment.
Requirements of the Criminal Justice Practitioner:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar Substance Misuse role
- Experience with substance misuse clients
- Required to work full-time Monday to Friday
