Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Counsellor to work full-time Remoteley/Dudley and Walsall. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Counselling and be registered with the BACP.
The pay rate for this locum Counsellor job is £23-£24 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 6-month contract.
About the role:
- The post holder will be part of a team of clinicians whose responsibility it is to develop and improve services for people with common mental health problems in primary care, attended integrated care team meetings when required.
- Team members will actively participate in and support the development of new ways of working which will strengthen and support the co-ordination of a whole systems approach for response to identified client need. Members will also be involved in regular service evaluation, audit and research initiatives
Requirements of the Counsellor:
- Degree or equivalent within Counselling
- BACP registered
- Recent experience as a Counsellor
- Post holders will have high level of autonomy within their specific primary care setting, developing and managing all aspects of their service according to local need and within the parameters of the service operational policy
