We're hiring a Content Writer to join our growing team as we continue to develop and raise awareness of our new staffing platform, MigrateHR. You'll be responsible for enriching our website with fresh blogs and marketing copy, managing style consistency across all projects, and communicating with team members to create the best content possible.

ABOUT US

Sanctuary International - which is a branch of Sanctuary Personnel - is a global health and social care recruitment agency, specialising in supporting professionals who want to relocate to the UK. We work closely with the NHS and other UK organisations to tackle the growing workforce challenges faced by their health and social care teams.

Our new staffing platform, MigrateHR, simplifies the international recruitment process for overseas health and social care workers, as well as streamlining the activity between applicants and UK employers. By merging automation and data analytics into staffing solutions, we're redefining what international applicants and employers can expect from the process. MigrateHR is a place where hiring managers can reach out to an established and supported community of professionals, in a more transparent and cost-effective way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Research international health and social care related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
  • Write clear copy to promote MigrateHR services
  • Proofread and edit website content before publication
  • Coordinate with other team members to illustrate articles
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Create promotional content for social media
  • Identify target audiences' needs and gaps in our content, and recommend new ideas
  • Ensure all-around consistency (e.g. style, fonts, images, and tone)
  • Adhere to our specific style guides and content requirements
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online content
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in marketing, journalism or similar
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or a similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience of doing research using multiple sources
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (English)
  • Experience with Content Management Systems
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proof-reading skills with a good eye for detail
  • Drive and confidence
  • A collaborative nature and happy to support others when needed
