Sanctuary Health has a permanent job vacancy in Oxford for a Consultant Doctor specialising in Dermatology. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join a dynamic team of Consultant Dermatologists in private practice. Full time or part time applicants will be considered.
This role has a pay rate is £100,000 per annum plus significant further earning potential via private practice bonus scheme. This role offers 30 days annual leave per year and 5 days study leave per year.
About the role:
- The holder of this post will be a Consultant Dermatologist and will be expected to provide general dermatology consultations and treatments for patients of all ages, including children, within private clinics in Oxford and Cheltenham.
- Alongside their clinical role the appointee is expected to participate in teaching and training of nursing staff, GPs and other clinical staff groups as required.
- The post holder will be expected to work with managers and professional colleagues in the promotion and efficient running of services and, with Consultant colleagues, contribute medical advice to management for the continual improvement of services and the quality of care to patients.
- The job plan will be a prospective agreement that sets out the consultants' duties, responsibilities and objectives for the coming year. It will cover all aspects of a consultant's professional practice including clinical work, teaching, research, education, clinical governance and any other responsibilities.
Requirements of the Consultant Doctor role include:
- Full GMC registration
- The consultant must be on the specialist register
- Experience of private practice and an awareness of cosmetic and laser treatments and is preferred but is not obligatory
