Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Worthing on a full-time basis, will be covering Littlehampton to Shoreham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30 - £34 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Occupational Therapy helps people with impairments to live more independent, productive lives
- It enables people with disabilities to carry out essential daily activities, in a wide variety of settings, access to the wider community and work and leisure activities
- Occupational Therapists are required to support the work of OT Connect, the first point of contact for customers, on a routine basis
- To provide efficient and effective Occupational Therapy interventions, undertaking comprehensive needs led assessment with customers and carers, aiming to facilitate their optimal level of independence
- Plan the most effective intervention, implement, monitor and review outcomes in accordance with statutory requirements and the self-directed support framework
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
