Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Social Service Occupational Therapist to work in Epsom, Surrey on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial change -month contract.
Duties/Job Information:
- The clients we work with may experience a learning disability, physical or sensory impairment, mental health or be an older person
- You will develop a range of skills enabling you to undertake frontline holistic occupational therapy practice within a social care setting, building your professional experience in major adaptations, reablement skills gain programs, moving and handling assessments with the aim of supporting our clients to live independently in the community
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
- Requires home visits within your locality area and on occasion travelling outside the county (some of the settings may be clients homes, residential care and nursing homes
