Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Psychiatrist Nurse (CPN) to work based in Bedford.
The pay rate for this locum role is £26.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 1-month contract.
Working Hours:
- Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
Main Duties:
- Core nursing skills.
- Able to administer depot medication.
- Able to undertake holistic assessments of need and risk and to develop care and safety plans.
- Able to review mental state.
- Provide psycho-education.
- Monitor medication use and review side-effects.
- Able to work as an effective part of an MDT, while working autonomously.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatrist Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
- Previous experience working as a CPN.
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
- Experience working in a community mental health team.
- Knowledge and experience of RiO.
