Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Psychiatrist Nurse (CPN) to work based in Bedford.

The pay rate for this locum role is £26.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 1-month contract.

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Main Duties:

  • Core nursing skills.
  • Able to administer depot medication.
  • Able to undertake holistic assessments of need and risk and to develop care and safety plans.
  • Able to review mental state.
  • Provide psycho-education.
  • Monitor medication use and review side-effects.
  • Able to work as an effective part of an MDT, while working autonomously.

Requirements of the Community Psychiatrist Nurse:

  • Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
  • Previous experience working as a CPN.
  • A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
  • Experience working in a community mental health team.
  • Knowledge and experience of RiO.
