Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6/7 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work in Worthing.
The pay rate for this full-time role is £24.80 - £29.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 6-month contract.
Duties:
- Provide specialist assessments and nursing interventions
- Participate in the review of clinical policies and guidelines
- Undertake audit activity
- Provide clinical nurse leadership
- Be part of the recruitment and selection process of staff
- Manage a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs
- Keep accurate and timely electronic records of each contact
- Seek and attend monthly clinical supervision
- Lead the team in absence of Service Manager
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to effectively manage risk
- Able to manage and delegate tasks
- Able to use Trust IT systems to enter patient information, case notes, risk, eCPA
- Awareness of PMVA interventions
- Able to manage distressing or emotional situations
