Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work full-time within a Specialist Mental Health Team in Colchester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Community Psychiatric Nurse role is £24.74 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
- As post holder of this role you will work mainly with Duty service within Specialist Mental Health Team.
- Responding to our clients more urgent needs.
- Ensuring post-discharge follow ups take place within timeframes, risk assessments, feeding back to Care Coordinators.
- Nursing role working with adults with non-psychosis diagnoses aged 18 upwards.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience in community mental health desired, preferably 2 years post-qualifying experience
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- Covering Colchester and Tendring areas so car driver essential
- Knowledge and/or experience of therapeutic skills eg CBT, counselling, group work
