Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an Alchohol Liason Team based in Harlow.
The pay rate for this full-time role is £24 - £25.55 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Community Psychiatric Nurse Job Summary:
- Liaison with all hospital medical and nursing staff. The overall aim is to improve the outcome of dependent and harmful drinkers with particular emphasis on physical and mental health.
- Support for relatives of those parties referred.
- Assessment for harmful drinkers where appropriate
- To act as an alcohol champion within the acute setting
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
