Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Community Physiotherapist to work full-time in Harlow.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £20-£23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3 month contract.
You will be working 30hrs a week between Monday-Sunday 9-4.
Duties of the Physiotherapist:
- To provide physiotherapeutic assessment, treatment and clinical management of patients who have complex, acute and chronic presentations focused on rehabilitation and hospital avoidance. To evaluate input, discharge and refer on as required.
- To provide a person centred approach to patient to people with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions providing a diagnosis and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
- To provide education and training to patients, families, carers and other member of the multidisciplinary team.
- To provide leadership, management and support the clinical development of junior staff, through supervision, appraisal, mentoring, education and training.
- To take an active role in service development and promote Continuing Professional Development.
- To represent Physiotherapy at community events and take responsibility for specific projects
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
- Inpatient skill set and experience
