Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to work full-time within a Rapid Response Team based in Lewisham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 - £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Acute or community experience.
- Experience in Falls prevention, intermediate care, both bed based and community rehabilitation.
- At least 2 years' experience at Band 5.
- Experience working with frail, elderly people. Wide knowledge of Long term condition management. Rapid Response team experience, admission avoidance or A and E experience.
- Car driver
