Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Occupational Therapists to fill multiple full-time roles across West Wales (Aberaeron, Ceredigion, Bronglais, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire). The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for these locum Occupational Therapist roles are £33 per hour and are ongoing contracts.
Ceredigion roles:
Aberaeron or Cardigan Integrated Care Centres: Band 6 Community OT, Full-time until March 2021. Main duties include: cover community rehab, reablement, discharge to assess, post discharge follow up, manual handling assessment, equipment provision.
Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth: Band 6 Acute OT, until March 2021. Main duties include: covering acute medicine, surgery and trauma and orthopaedics. Potentially looking to cover a working pattern of Tuesday to Saturday to support 6 day service cover (although the 'day off' during the week would be negotiable).
Carmarthenshire roles:
Band 6 Community OT
Band 6 Acute/Front of House OT - Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli
Band 6 Acute OT - Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen. Covering medical and orthopaedics.
Pembrokeshire roles:
Band 6 Intermediate Care OT, Haverfordwest - Full-time, 1-3 Months main duties include: covering community short term intervention and prevention of admission and A&E. No weekends just week days at present.
Band 6 Acute OT, Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest - preferably full-time.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapists:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
