Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 5 Community Nurse to fill a full-time role in North East Bristol.
The pay rate for this locum Nurse job is £28 (Assignment Rate) per hour and is an initial 2-month contract. Working 08.30am - 16.30pm Monday- Friday.
Duties:
- The post holder will haev knowldge of Bowel care ie DRE and administration of suppositories/enema.
- The post holder will have the Ability to perform male/female/supra-pubic catheterisation.
- The post holder will have the Ability to manage PICC lines/pleurex drains.
- The post holder will have the Ability to administer and understand stat doses of EOL medication.
Requirements of the Community District Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration.
- Degree or equivalent in Nursing.
- Community experience.
- Insulin administration.
- VAC therapy.
- Wound care knowledge.
- Must be able to drive and have their own car (mileage will be paid at 45p a mile)
