Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Community Nurse to work either full-time or full-time across Bridgnorth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of community nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rates for this locum Community Nurse role are varied depending on shifts and this role offers a 3-month contract. Working, Monday - Sunday; with a shift pattern consisting of 08:00 am-16:00 pm, 08:30 am-16:30 pm or 09:00 am-17:00pm. We are expecting this candidate to be work weekends; which will be agreed with the team once they commence.
Pay rate:
- Weekdays - £20-£21 per hour
- Saturdays/Nights - £26.00 per hour
- Sundays/Bank Holidays - £31.00 per hour
Duties:
- Venepuncture
- Insulin & Tinzaparin administration
- Catheterisation
- Wound care & compression bandaging
Requirements of the Community Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within general nursing (RGN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Must have at least 2 years post qualifying experience within nursing
- Community Nursing experience
- Experience of syringe drivers and palliative care would be desirable
