Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Community Nurse to work in Newark-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of community nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Community Staff Nurse job is £20 to £33 per hour (Assignment rate) depending on shift pattern.
Rates/Shifts:
- Weekdays: £20 - £21 per hour
- Saturdays/Nights: £27 per hour
- Sundays/Bank Holidays: £33 per hour
- Flexible full or part time locum hours are available to suit you.
- Ongoing bookings with the view to being extended longer term.
Role purpose:
- Provide high quality holistic evidence based care to patients/service users that is responsive, effective and efficient.
- Facilitate and support timely discharge and prevent inappropriate admissions by supporting patients/service user to remain as independent as possible and maintain or improve their level of function and quality of life.
Context:
- Support the re-design of Adult Community Health Services to achieve a model of wrap around care that is responsive to the needs of the patients/service users.
- Must be pro-active in delivering anticipatory and responsive care, promoting independence, health life style, reduction in health inequalities to improve the overall quality of life in the local population.
- Offer a comprehensive nursing service to the resident population of Nottingham West, providing a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approach to maximise patient function, well-being and self-care planning.
Requirements of the Community Staff Nurse:
- An in date DBS is required for all roles/work
- RGN qualified
- NMC registered with valid live pin
- Recent UK Community Nursing experience
- Must have their own transport and/or ability to travel. Travel paid at 24p per mile.
