Sanctuary Health is currently looking for 2 experienced and dedicated Band 6 (will consider Band 5) Community Mental Health Nurses to fill a full-time role based in Witney, within the Older Adult Mental Health Team. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rates for these Community Mental Health Nurse jobs are £32.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
There may be occasions once every three weeks where staff are needed to work until 8 pm when it's the teams turn to offer the county cover.
Duties:
- Provide mental health assessments and treatment within the community
- Support patients to work towards their own recovery
- Act as a CPA Care Coordinator for a defined caseload
- Undertake Duty and Memory Clinic assessments
- Provide home treatment for patients experiencing a mental health crisis
Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurses:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
