Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Hospital Discharge Occupational Therapist to work in Coventry on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £19 - £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 6-month contract.
Duties:
- To work on community STSMI hospital discharge service in residential homes and within peoples own home, assessing the need for equipment and the level of care requirements to inform social care
- Very rapid response service OT would need to have demonstrable promoting independence or rehab experience, they would work with physio and OTA and report to OT TL in a weekly MDT
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
