Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community CAMHS Practitioner to work full-time based in Rotherham. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Community CAMHS Practitioner role is £25.23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- As postholder of this role you will offer specialist assessments and also their skills in multi-agency working by providing ongoing consultation, formulation and guidance with the wider professional systems working with children, young people and families within North Lincolnshire.
- The postholder will need to demonstrate an ability to maintain a high standard of patient care; be professionally responsible for the collaborative formulation of care needs and engage in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Consultation and Guidance process for clients under 18 years of age who are displaying mental health issues.
- As part of the role you will be required to undertake Mental Health assessment and develop appropriate Risk Management Plans for young people who are experiencing a wide variety of mental health disorders/illnesses or difficulties that are impacting on their life who present in a Mental Health Crisis during in and out of hours to the service.
Requirements of the Community CAMHS Practitioner:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- 2 years post registration experience - previous experience of working in community mental health setting
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- Required to work Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
