Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy/Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing to work in Devon on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum job is £27 (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To provide high intensity psychological therapy as part of the NHS Veterans Complex Treatment Service (South West) following Evidence Based Practice / NICE guidance to military veterans with complex mental health needs, via an online digital platform and where clinical needs dictates delivery via face-to-face following AWPs guidance.
- Timely record keeping.
- Trained to use RiO.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Qualified and registered (e.g. BPS, UKCP, BABCP, HCPC, NMC), professional (nurse, occupational therapist, social worker, psychologist) with at least Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and EMDR.
- Experience of providing Step 3+ interventions.
- Experience of working in mental health services and managing complex mental health presentations.
