Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to work as a Clinician based in Slough.
The pay rate for this locum Clinician job is £35 per hour (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Manage risk and improve outcomes for children who have a range of needs including needing to be protected and to be looked after by the local authority
- Lead on the delivery of a therapeutic service as directed by the Head of Service to the most vulnerable children and their families and provide consultation and clinical expertise to hub colleagues
- Build professional relationships with Children and their families to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes
- Ensure that children and their families are communicated with effectively and provided with the necessary information regarding their circumstances and plans for intervention
- Help support and provide therapeutic interventions to support child in care to stabilise placement or rehabilitation home
- Deliver a flexible service and work directly to meet the needs of children and families by working in the family home, school and community settings as well as at the work place
Requirements of the Clinician:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant experience working within a similar role
