Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to work full-time based in Swindon.
The pay rate for this locum Clinical Psychologist job is £38 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and carers as appropriate to the service
- Provide highly specialist advice and consultation on clients’ formulation and psychological management to other non-psychologist colleagues
- Use highly specialist psychological knowledge and skills to contribute to the more effective management of patients by the various teams in the area and where appropriate outside of the area
- Clinically supervise trainee clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, less experienced psychology staff, and other professionals
- Contribute to audit, research, policy and service development within the areas served by the Psychological Therapies Service
- To develop and deliver training in psychological therapies for multidisciplinary staff.
Shift Pattern:
- 3 days a week
- Tue,Wed, Thurs 9-5
Requirements of the Clinical Psychologist:
- HCPC registered psychologist
- Relevant qualification
