Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to work full-time based in East London.
The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Clinical Psychologist job is £33 per hour (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Provide psychological advice concerning the assessment and treatment of adolescents presenting with complex mental health needs or in crisis and their families
- Provide a specialist psychological perspective to the work of relevant groups/teams
- Follow defined practices and procedures under the management and co-ordination of a senior psychologist
- Alongside MDT colleagues to spend sustained periods of time with service users who may be aggressive and hostile, who may have difficulties with communication skills and self-care, and special physical and/or mental needs
- Provide a flexible approach in the delivery of psychological work that includes individual and family approaches as well as working psychologically via the MDT and working 'on the floor' with young people
- Be responsible and accountable for the direct provision of an autonomous and systematic specialist clinical service including specialised assessments and the development and delivery of specialist programmes of care
Requirements of the Psychologist:
- HCPC registered psychologist
- Relevant qualification
- Recent psychology experience
