Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Clinical Psychological to work 22.5 hours per week, based in Woking.
The pay rate for this locum Clinical Psychologist job is £29.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-6 month contract.
Requirements of the Clinical Psychologist:
- Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with CAMHS experience
- Registration with a recognised approved body
- Masters level qualification or equivalent experience and Training in: Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)/ Occupational Therapy degree level qualification and registered with HPCP/ Qualified Psychotherapist registered with professional body i.e. ACP approved Child Psychotherapist/ Clinical Psychology (or equivalent for those who trained before 1996) as accredited by the BPS
- Relevant post graduate qualification
- Additional post-qualification training equivalent to a minimum of 50 hours supervision within a specific modality directly related to clinical practice including case presentations, group supervision, attendance of teaching programmes, courses etc
- CAMHS experience
- A supervisory qualification in the relevant professional discipline e.g. AFT or HPC Approved Clinical Supervisor or substantial supervision experience
- Completed the relevant training and be registered as an NMP (Non Medical Prescriber)
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the health and social care systems and operating frameworks, clinical observations and the Mental Health Act and other legal frameworks
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to analyse situations and be able to make the right decisions
- Ability to manage difficult situations with child or young person and their families that have complex mental health conditions and challenging behaviours
