The salary for this Clinical Psychologist job is £38,000-£42,000.
About the role:

- As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have experience working within a psychiatric setting and knowledge in clinical, forensic or counseling psychology as you will carry a complex caseload of service users with risk behaviours, including assessing their needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans.
Duties of the Clinical Psychologist:
- Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and ensure that the service users are fully engaged in their care pathway.
- To support clinical team working, including both direct interventions and the delivery of staff training programmes.
- To support the clinical team and area of service in developing new initiatives and ways of working.
- You will have a positive, problem-solving approach and contribute towards the service development initiatives
- Carrying out research projects
Requirements of the Clinical Psychologist:
- HCPC registered psychologist
- Post qualifying experience
- Knowledge of risk assessments, including HCR-20
- Experience of providing specialist assessments and interventions
- Experience using CBT, DBT or ACT
