Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Clinical Pharmacist to work part-time (22.5 hours per week) based in Haringey.
The pay rate for this locum Clinical Pharmacist job is £30-£32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Provide and participate in the following: in-patient and outpatient dispensing (including supporting the clozapine dispensing service), ward–based clinical pharmacy, patient counselling, training of other healthcare professionals in medicines optimisation and management.
Play an active role in the provision of a high-quality pharmaceutical/ clinical service to all areas (hospital based and in the community) supplied by the pharmacy department at St Ann’s hospital (the emphasis being on mental health).
Facilitate the efficient, optimal, rational, and cost-effective use of medicinal products by clinicians and service users.
Support the monitoring of clinical governance processes / systems through undertaking ward/team-based audits.
Requirements of the Clinical Pharmacist:
Must be registered on the GPHC as a pharmacist.
Must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy.
Recent experience working as a pharmacist within the NHS or similar setting.
