Sanctuary Health has a permanent job vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Trainer to work full-time based in Camden. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The salary for this permanent Clinical Nurse Trainer role is £35,000 per annum.

Summary:

  • As postholder of this role you will be responsible for ensuring best practice for clinical staff is maintained and consistent, through a comprehensive and robust clinical training and competency program.

Main Duties:

  • In partnership with the Clinical Governance Lead, maintain management oversight of the clinical and core mandatory training function.
  • Responsible for creating and updating all clinical training material
  • Devise and implement a robust system for scheduling induction and refresher training that meets service need.
  • In partnership with the Clinical Governance Lead and General Managers, identify training needs within services and implement training plans to meet any shortfalls.
  • Deliver all aspects of clinical training within our services using a blended learning approach.
  • Provide support and guidance for nurse's revalidation.
  • Support General Managers to embed new knowledge and evidence-based practice following successful delivery of clinical training across their staff teams.
  • Support and assist on training and nurse competency matter's within service improvement projects that deliver on business objectives based on customer feedback, best practice and clinical excellence.
  • Contribute to researching, developing, nursing specific and healthcare related policies and procedures to ensure this is translated into training delivery in partnership with the Clinical Governance Lead.

Requirements of the Clinical Nurse Trainer:

  • Degree or equivalent within nursing, RGN Qualified
  • Hold current NMC PIN registration and adhere to the NMC Codes of Conduct at all times
  • Award in Education and Training or equivalent/appropriate training qualification
  • Ability to create high quality teaching materials, content and presentations.
  • Ability and accountability in researching and sharing best practice initiatives, nursing legislation and guidance.
  • Recent experience within a similar role
  • Required to work 35 hours per week- Monday-Friday but some flexibility will be required
