Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist (CPN) to work full-time within a Specialist Eating Disorders Service based in Willow, Epsom (Remote working). The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Clinical Nurse Specialist role is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 6-month contract.
Summary:
- The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work in conjunction with other MDT professionals in CEDS, CAMHS Community Services [Tier 3], Early Intervention in Pyschosis, HOPE and other relevant services/ organisations to assess plan and evaluate the care of young people referred to the service, and will act as care coordinator as required.
- You will work alongside your other MDT colleagues and other CEDS Professional Leads and be expected to support the whole team in continuing to deliver the NHS England Access and Waiting Times targets.
- Working to local and national policies you will work together with the multi-disciplinary team to provide support and care to young people referred to the service.
- Ensure young persons are assessed and contribute to the treatment/ care plans for the young people, working as part of the whole system of multi-agency working.
- Have a responsibility for the care management of a case load and will have clinical governance over the nursing caseload also.
Requirements of the Clinical Nurse Specialist:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
