What you will do:
- Serve as the clinical lead for Occupational Therapy and provide cross-cover for the Physiotherapy lead when needed.
- Handle complex case management and facilitate effective discharge planning.
- Conduct assessments and provide necessary equipment; focusing on moving and handling.
- Supervise junior staff, fostering professional development and team cohesion.
- Engage in shared leadership roles, exemplifying clinical and operational leadership.
- Work extensively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Draw from your experience with orthopaedic, medical, and community settings.
- Maintain professional registration with the HCPC, demonstrating your commitment to high professional standards.
- Well-equipped with a car, you’ll service various community and medical environments with ease and mobility.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registered
- Previous/current UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist is essential
