Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 8b Clinical Lead to fill a full-time role in Macclesfield. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Clinical Lead job is £41.51 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 10-month contract.
This role will work on a Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm pattern.
Duties:
- Interact extensively with clinical LIMS Data Leads, senior lab operatives, and the lab management team, exploiting software opportunities to improve our end-to-end laboratory workflow and enhance standard operating procedures
- Collaborate closely with the IT Infrastructure team and the Business Analyst to deliver solutions on well-architected and secure platforms and network configurations
- Perform Instrument integration
- Sound software configuration management and governance, as well as a pure development
- Programming in a Biological Sciences setting
Requirements of the Clinical Lead:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification
- Minimum of three years' experience in a support role, preferably with experience in Molecular Diagnostics workflow and/or Biochemistry devices
- Experience supporting middleware solutions in a hospital or laboratory IT environment
- Experience as a 3rd line support engineer
- At least 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role
