Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Children's Trust Programme Director to fill a full-time role based in the East Midlands.

The pay rate for this locum Programme Director job is £500-£700 per day and is a 3-month contract.

About the role:

  • The role will work collaboratively with the senior leadership team, commissioners, the Department for Education and stakeholders to deliver the Trust. You will drive, lead and manage major and complex change at pace to deliver the creation of the Children's Trust, ensuring involvement and engagement with key stakeholders.

Main Duties:

  • Design, drive and lead the Children's Trust Programme, so that it delivers major and complex change to meet objectives, ensuring and optimising benefits realisation.
  • Provide leadership of the programme which articulates a clear and compelling vision of change through the use of evidence-based business cases, sound financial analysis, delivery plans and resource planning.
  • Provide leadership for the delivery of the programme through an effective and robust programme and project management culture.
  • Develop and nurture strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure engagement and delivery of change.
  • Ensure excellent and robust governance arrangements across the programme.
  • Provide effective change management leadership and support so that the change vision is delivered using innovative solutions that harness the expertise, knowledge and creativity within all of the employees of the County Council and its partners.

Requirements of the Programme Director:

  • A management qualification at degree level and / or significant experience in organisational leadership and delivering successful transformation programmes.
  • In depth understanding of change management strategies, techniques and programmes.
  • Detailed working knowledge and understanding of programme and project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of innovative and future based commercial and commissioning solutions and sustainable business models.
  • Knowledge and application of risk and issue management and resolution.
  • Experience of working at a senior level in a complex environment, managing multiple transformation projects across a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of leading and delivering large scale transformational change and the ability to convey a compelling and engaging vision.
  • Experience of translating strategy into delivery through plans, programmes, people and culture.
  • Experience of implementing or working with innovative commissioning frameworks and approaches.
  • Proven track record of strategically aligning financial resources with people resources, ICT and other assets to achieve desired strategic outcomes.
