Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Children's Speech and Language Therapist to work within a Children's Community Clinic and Mainstream School setting in Swindon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £31.62 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an 3-month contract.
Duties:
The role will involve managing a clinic and mainstream school caseload.
You will be providing speech and language therapy assessments, developing and delivering therapy programmes in clinic, school and home settings.
You will also be providing advice and support to children, young people and their families as well as to school staff and other professionals to enable them to deliver delegated programmes of therapy and support.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
HCPC registered as a Therapist
Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
2 years' experience
You will have completed your post registration RCSLT competencies and will be confident working independently within a team
