Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Children’s Social Worker to work full-time based in Dorset.
The pay rate for this locum Children’s Social Worker job is £27.39 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Shift Patterns:
- The role involves shift work and out of hours cover
- The role involves working shifts, covering out of hours as well as day time shifts
Duties:
- Cover all aspects of the Consultant Social Worker’s role within the Children’s Advice and Duty Service, this will also mean working out of hours and ensuring the Integrated Front Door is able to provide a responsive and needs-led service
Requirements of the Children’s Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
- Level 3 or above and who have decision-making and risk management experience (recent experience in safeguarding children and young people)
- The ability to form positive relationships with our partners is key within this role
- Be skilled in building a rapport with children and young people, their families, members of the public and our partners
