Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Dorset. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £27.39 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Must have previous experience of Child in Need, Child Protection and working with Looked After Children.
- Must have an understanding of the legislation that underpins Statutory Child Care practice.
- They will need to have a car and be able to travel as Dorset is a rural county.
- Good communication skills both spoken and written and be able to build rapport with families.
