Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Children's Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in Southampton on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- To support the Senior Occupational Therapist in delivering an Occupational Therapy Service within an integrated Health and Social Care team in line with Social Care statutory responsibility, and to assist with the provision of key service strands within Children and Families Service
- To ensure that the Social Care Occupational Therapy Service maximises professional knowledge and expertise, is responsive and leads to positive outcomes for disabled children, young people and their carers
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
