Children’s Residential Care Worker – Glossop, UK
Location: Glossop, UK
Salary: £11.75 – £12.27 per hour (DOE) + £66 per sleep-in (6-8 per month)

Maintain appropriate supervision and structure for children and young people.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals to advocate for and support each child.
Cover various shifts (early mornings, late evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins).
Promote an inclusive and supportive culture, challenging any discrimination.
Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
Experience in children’s residential care or a similar care setting preferred.
Level 3/4 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) required for senior roles.
Ability to commit to full-time work, including sleep-ins and potential residential trips.
Valid manual driving licence required.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and equal opportunities.
Enhanced DBS clearance and thorough pre-employment checks required.
