What you will do:
- Perform initial assessments of children and families referred to the service, identifying needs, risks, and strengths.
- Develop and implement care plans, working closely with families and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.
- Undertake child protective investigations and coordinate initial court proceedings when necessary.
- Conduct Strategy discussions, Initial Child Protection Conferences, and Child In Need Planning.
- Engage in child-focused direct work that is both creative and purposeful.
- Present reports and findings clearly in complex meetings, confidently steering discussions.
- Offer support and advice to families during times of crisis to help prevent escalation.
- Utilize digital technology to enhance communication with children and young people.
- Participate in regular reflective supervision sessions to continually improve your practice.
