Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 8b Chief Pharmacist to work full-time based in Cambridge.
The pay rate for this locum Pharmacist job is £43.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Job Summary:
- To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate comprehensive production services to the Trust, ensuring compliance with current directives, legislation, external audits, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Health and Safety requirements.
- To be the named Production Lead on manufacturers (specials) licence -where held locally.
- To be the Accountable Pharmacist ensuring methods used to prepare and release chemotherapy, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), and other aseptic products prepared under section 10 of the Medicines Act comply with national guidance, 'Quality Assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services' and the EL97(52) audit framework.
Requirements of the Pharmacist:
- Must be registered on the GPHC as a pharmacist
- Must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy
- Experience in Managing crucial
