What you will do:
- Administer chemotherapy treatments safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and practices.
- Closely monitor patient reactions to treatments, managing side effects and escalating any concerns to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout their treatment process.
- Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Collaborate effectively with oncologists, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary team members to optimise patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on their treatment plans, potential side effects, and post-treatment care requirements.
- Adhere strictly to infection control and health and safety protocols within the oncology unit.
