Sanctuary Health has a permanent job vacancy for a Charge Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to work full-time with a leading healthcare provider in Lincoln.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The salary for this permanent Charge Nurse role is £33,500 per annum.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities:

  • To lead and co-ordinate the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment whilst on duty.
  • Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care.
  • Manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within a ward or unit, ensuring it complies with statutory regulations, current legislation and meets quality standards.
  • Provide strong and robust leadership in the clinical environment
  • Monitor the performance and conduct of staff and to take corrective action when necessary.
  • Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality, security and accuracy of data and information and compliance with Regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain and evidence standards of competence as defined by the NMC, in order to remain registered.

Requirements of the Charge Nurse:

  • You will be a registered nurse and will have a valid NMC pin.
  • A genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development.
  • Recent UK Nursing experience
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to rise to any challenge is a must
