Sanctuary Health has a permanent job vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Charge Nurse to work full-time within an Adult Autistic Spectrum Disorder Unit based in Bromley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The salary for this permanent Charge Nurse role is up to £32,320 per annum + 20% night and 50% bank holiday enhancements.

Summary:

  • The Hospital is an independent 46-bed psychiatric hospital for Working Age Adults (mixed), located in SE London. We provide care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as Inpatients, Daycare and Outpatients.
  • If successful, you will take on an active role in management of the ward, under the supervision of the Ward Manager, and you will take charge in their absence. As postholder of this role you will be expected to participate fully with the clinical team and undertake direct patient care.

Requirements of the Charge Nurse:

  • Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN/RNLD trained)
  • NMC registration and a valid live pin
  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience within a mental health environment.
  • Must be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have the ability to supervise clinical teams.
