Sanctuary Health has a permanent vacancy for a Charge Nurse to work full-time within an Adult Autistic Spectrum Disorder Unit based in Preston. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The salary for this permanent Charge Nurse job is £32,320 per annum
Duties:
- To take an active role in management of the ward/unit under the supervision of the Ward Manager,and to take charge in his/her absence. Participate fully with the clinical team and undertake direct patient care.

Requirements of the Charge Nurse:
- RMN/RNLD
- Mentorship Qualification (preferred)
- The ability to lead and motivate others. Must be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have the ability to supervise clinical teams.
- A genuine interest in quality service delivery and development
- The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Numeracy and evidence of analytical ability
- Experience in completing audits
