Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for a Case Responsible Officer to join the Youth Support Missing Team in Gloucester. This is a full-time, temporary position offering a pay rate of £23.29 per hour.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take on a pivotal role in supporting children and young people who have been reported missing. As a Case Responsible Officer, you’ll provide structured support and expert guidance to colleagues across social care and partner agencies, ensuring appropriate responses and interventions are in place.
Key Duties

Provide professional advice and coordination for cases involving children reported as missing

Work alongside social workers and other professionals to reduce risk and incidents of going missing

Build positive relationships with young people and their families to promote engagement and safeguarding

Undertake assessments to evaluate risk and need, using recognised assessment tools

Develop and deliver personalised intervention plans in line with assessed risks and identified outcomes

Maintain effective communication with external partners including police, education, and health services
Candidate Requirements

Experience: Background in Youth Work, Family Support, Social Care, Youth Offending or a related field

Qualifications: Degree or equivalent Level 4+ qualification (e.g. Social Work, Youth Work, Education, Health, Advice & Guidance, Criminal Justice)

Compliance: Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK

Driving: Full UK driving licence

Availability: 37 hours per week
