Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to work in Glasgow.
The pay rate for this locum Care Home Manager role is £26 - £33 per hour (assignment rate).
Summary:
- To manage the delivery of care at a Residential Care Home for Older People. Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the services, including allocation of work and ensuring the maintenance of health and safety of residents, visitors and staff.
- The post holder will assume the responsibilities of the registered manager of the service and there may be a requirement to hold the registration, dependant on contract duration.
Main Duties:
- To manage the delivery of Bonnyton House Residential Care services for the Health and Social Care Partnership and ensure that the principles of the Health and Social Care standards are embedded within the practice of all employees of the service.
- To be responsible for the line management and assume overall responsibility for managing, developing, motivating all staff ensuring a positive culture in providing modern, effective and efficient services.
- Ensure high quality, person-centred care and support, which meet the requirements of The Regulations of Care (Scotland) Act 2001. Ensuring that services are outcome focussed, provided consistently and in the most cost efficient and effective manner.
- To ensure that the relevant returns and inspection information as required by the Regulator is returned within set timescales.
- To ensure compliance with requirements and recommendations outlined by the Regulator.
- To be responsible for the management of relevant budgets and financial systems relating the service.
- To participate in planning, performance reviews and other activities required to meet strategic and departmental objectives.
- To use ICT applications and systems as required and produce reports and management information.
