Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to work full-time based in Stalybridge.
The pay rate for this locum CAMHS Practitioner role is £25.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To ensure high-quality Healthy Young Minds assessment of children and families referred to the Tier 3 service
- To provide or provide access to a range of quality psychotherapeutic interventions in accordance with individual assessed need. This will include the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of a variety of therapeutic approaches either alone or as a member of the MDT
- To deliver therapeutic input to children and young people referred to the team
- Work as a co-therapist where appropriate with other members of the MDT
- To be responsible for and manage a defined caseload and undertake case management responsibilities within the caseload
- Identify and develop strategies to manage risk to the child and others
- Attend team, clinical, business and other meetings as required
Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Current NMC registration with valid live pin
- Significant NHS experience as a CAMHS Practitioner
- Be aware of and work towards the Trusts strategic goals
