Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to work full-time (including evenings and weekends) in South Gloucester and Bristol. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum CAMHS Practitioner role is £30.43 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To ensure the high-quality provision of Child & Adolescent mental health assessment and treatment plans
- To work individually and jointly with the team to provide a specialist, assessment, treatment and consultation service to children, adolescents and their families within the South Gloucester and Bristol CAMHS team and to work with the wider care systems which impact on the welfare of the child
- To work within a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team involved in the assessment and treatment of children and young people with serious and complex mental health difficulties
- To support colleagues and senior managers on service delivery and service improvement
Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Current NMC registration with valid live pin
- Significant NHS experience as a CAMHS Practitioner
