Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for a dedicated CAMHS Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to work 37.5 hours per week based in Doncaster, within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.

The pay rate for this locum CAMHS Cognitive Behavioural Therapist job is £28 - £29 per hour (Assignment rate) per hour and is an initial 6-month contract.

Duties:

  • Work as an autonomous clinician providing Specialist Cognitive Behavioural assessments, Lead professional and treatment to children and young people with a range of psychological and emotional disorders
  • Act as a clinical expert in the field of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), providing consultation and education to Trust staff
  • Provide expertise in all aspects of CBT to young people, carers and significant others
  • Provide Clinical Supervision and support to colleagues delivering CBT, including psychological well-being Practitioners
  • Work clinically in our CAMHS Psychological Therapies Pathway
  • Working within the psychological therapies pathway of the service

Requirements of the CAMHS Cognitive Behavioural Therapist:

  • Be an accredited CBT therapist registered with the BABCP
  • Recent CBT experience or an HCPC registered Psychologist
  • Experience within psychology
  • Flexible to meet the needs of the service
  • An understanding of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties
  • Passionate about delivering high quality and effective services to children and young people, wishing to develop skills specialist within CAMHS and develop their therapeutic skills in working with families
  • Excellent clinical skills, experience of multi-agency working and be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Develop or possess demonstrable leadership skills and the skills to develop positive relationships both internally & externally. In addition, you should have a sound understanding of the legislation and guidance for safeguarding children and young people
