Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role in Carmarthen in a Haematology and transusion role. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £30.00 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 1 - month contract.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role
Responsibilities:
- Experience with the All Wales LIMS system Trak care in Haematology / Coagulation and Telepath Computer system in Blood Transfusion would be ideal.
- Siemens Advias 2120i Haematology Analysers, Sysmex 2500 coagulometers and the Ortho Vision in Blood Transfusion.
